Due to ongoing community transmission of COVID-19 in NSW, the NSW Premier announced on 14 July 2021 that the stay at home restrictions for Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour would be extended for at least a further 2 weeks. Additional rules for regional and rural NSW also remain in place. Further information can be found on the NSW Government website.
Carers NSW has been receiving questions from carers about the application of certain aspects of the current stay at home order to their caring responsibilities. In response, we have developed a new FAQs fact sheet to clarify some of the key information from the current public health order and NSW Health advice.
