Disaster Recovery Allowance
If you have lost income as a direct result from ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, you may be eligible to receive Disaster Recovery Allowance.
Claims must be made before 8 September 2025.

NSW Personal Hardship Assistance Grant
The NSW Government has announced financial assistance for individuals impacted by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
A one-off payment of $180 for individuals (up to $900 per family) will be available from Service NSW to cover essential costs such as food, clothing, medicines and emergency accommodation.

Disaster Assistance Points
On Thursday 13 March 2025, four Disaster Assistance Points (RAPs) opened in Lismore, Tweed South, Ballina and Coffs Harbour.
Carers who attend RAPs can receive practical recovery advice and support.
The NSW Reconstruction Authority will commence mobile recovery outreach services to communities across the affected regions beginning from Thursday 13 March 2025.

Disaster Relief Grant
The Disaster Relief Grant (DRG) Program supports those most in need and those least able to return their return to their homes to a safe and habitable condition after a natural disaster.
Eligibility can include low income earners or where damage is not covered by insurance.
