Aboriginal cultural awareness training for disability service providers - More workshops announced

Walking Together: Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training is a free 3.5-hour workshop for providers of services and support to Aboriginal people with a disability and their families and carers.

Delivered by Carers NSW and Mirri Mirri, the workshop aims;

  • To develop the cultural safety of disability service organisations
  • To build the capacity of providers to engage with Aboriginal people with disability and their families and carers
  • To develop the capacity for service organisations to become an employer of choice
  • To introduce the Walking Together online training resource
