Continuing Professional Development

Carers NSW is an accredited RACGP CPD provider and offers training to Australian GPs to help them engage carers as partners in care.

Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members or friends who have a disability, mental illness, drug and/or alcohol dependency, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail. Carers are often best placed to provide valuable patient information and in turn rely on GPs for guidance information and referrals.
