National Carer Counselling Program

The National Carer Counselling Program (NCCP) is a short term counselling program providing up to six sessions of counselling to carers. The counselling focuses on issues related to the caring role and does not address deep-seated problems requiring long-term therapy or address issues pre-dating the caring role.

Counselling is also available to people who have recently stopped providing care, or to carers seeking additional counselling after a break from their caring responsibilities.

Find out more about the NCCP by calling the Carers NSW Carer Line on 1800 242 636. This service is free if calling from a landline, mobile rates apply.
