Planning ahead information is some of the hardest for carers to find. This National Carers Week, Carers NSW is launching the Carers' Future Planning Hub: a free online resource bringing future planning information together in one place, so carers have a place to start. To mark the launch, we are hosting a webinar with an expert panel discussing future planning from a range of perspectives.
This webinar is designed for carers, service providers, health professionals and sector colleagues who would like to understand what future planning involves and why it matters.
In this session, you will:
- Learn what future planning means for carers
- Understand the three areas the Hub covers - finances, legal decisions, and the caring journey
- Hear from an expert panel on why planning ahead matters, and where to start with the person you care for
- Know where to go for more information and support
This webinar will be delivered via ZOOM. You will need access to a computer with speakers. A microphone and camera are optional.
