‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ introduces carers to five simple and effective ways to improve their psychological and emotional health. Like physical fitness, carers can strengthen their psychological health in of small day-to-day ways.
Based on extensive international research, '5 Ways to Wellbeing' explores tips, practical tools and resources carers can implement to cope with the stress and demands of the caring role.
6 WEEK COURSE
The duration of this course is 6 weeks, with carers welcome to attend a 1 hour workshop every week. Carers are prompted to attend the complete session, but may select which weeks are of interest to them.
The sessions will focus on:
- Week 1: Connect
- Week 2: Be Active
- Week 3: Keep Learning
- Week 4: Be Aware
- Week 5: Help Others
- Week 6: Summary
Participants will receive an electronic copy of the handbook.
Afternoon: Starts Tuesday 19 July 2022 2.00pm - 3.00pm
Evening: Starts Wednesday 27 July 2022 7.30pm - 8.30pm
