Light Up Blue Campaign
Light Up for Carers is a national campaign, with landmarks across Australia turning blue each year to recognise the almost 3 million carers who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend every day.
Here in NSW, home to almost 1 million of those carers, bridges, town halls and local businesses will join the movement and light up blue.
This year's theme is Care for a Carer. It's a call to individuals, communities and organisations everywhere to think about how we can better support the carers around us.
How to get involved
Find a venue lighting up near your home, school or workplace. Spot blue, snap it, share it, and tag us on social media using #CarersNSW #LightUpForCarers.
It's a small gesture that tells the carers in your life: we see you, and we've got your back. Prefer not to post? You're welcome to send your photo to us directly instead.
