The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) aims to provide more choice and control to people with disability, their families and carers. However getting started with an NDIS plan can be daunting and overwhelming at first. Through Support Coordination services, Carers NSW staff can work with you to ensure the person you care for gets the most from their NDIS plan.
As a registered NDIS provider of Support Coordination, Carers NSW can assist you if the person you are caring for is eligible or has received an approved NDIS plan with a budget for Support Coordination.

Family Centred - Carers NSW has many years of experience providing support to people with disability and their carers. The Carers NSW team has a profound understanding of the fundamental importance of the informal support networks that surround many people with disabilities. We work with a family centred holistic approach to build family capacity to continue to improve the health and wellbeing of the person with disability, their family and carers.
Highly Skilled Staff - Our Support Coordinators have a background in working with people with disability, and their families, and have qualifications in Social work, Psychology or an allied health background.
We are an Independent Provider – We do not provide other NDIS services and therefore have no conflict of interest. We can act on your behalf in an impartial and unbiased manner to resolve points of conflict with providers.
Step 1: Talk to your NDIA Planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) and discuss what level of Coordination of Support you would like to include in the NDIS plan
Step 2: Once Support Coordination is included in the plan, your NDIA Planner will provide you with a referral form
Step 3: Select Carers NSW as your NDIS Support Coordinator by completing your NDIA referral form and send to Carers NSW (PO Box 785 North Sydney NSW 2059) or contact@carersnsw.org.au
