On average, unpaid family and friend carers provide 40 hours of care per week, saving Australia over $40 billion a year.

Many carers are in poor health themselves, experience financial hardship and social isolation and encounter one of the lowest rates of well-being in Australia.

There are over 2.7 million carers in Australia and there are many ways you can show your support; from raising awareness of and speaking out for carers, to fundraising or making a donation.
