Care2Work Project

Care2Work is a Carer Investment Program that aims to build carers’ capacity to engage in paid work of their choice through provision of holistic, carer- focused employment support.

Individual support is available to carers and former carers in NSW, based on assessment and need and includes:

  • Career coaching
  • Assistance translating caring skills into workplace skills
  • Resume development and review
  • Linkage and referral to training programs, supports and carer-friendly networks
  • Practical tips and strategies for carers navigating work and caring.

In addition to individual support, the Care2Work project is working to build relationships with employers and employment networks to raise awareness of carer needs and strengths in the workplace and further develop the platform of support for carers’ in employment.
