Do you care for someone with disability who is eligible for the NDIS?

Carers and the NDIS workshop, a free information session designed to help carers get the best outcome from the NDIS for the person they care for and for themselves.

The two-part interactive workshop focuses on building knowledge and skills to help carers make informed choices when accessing the NDIS.

Day 1: An introduction to the NDIS

Topics include;
  • What is the NDIS and when will it roll out in my area
  • Who is eligible for the NDIS and what does it involve?
  • How does the NDIS work?

Day 2: Your role as a carer in the NDIS

Topics include;

  • What role do carers play in NDIS and what can they expect?
  • Self-advocacy and assertive communication
  • Supporting the person you care for to make decisions
